Our Story

Our founder, Tom Hughes, established Doggies Daycare in 2019 after returning from Sydney with his beloved beagle, Bertie, and struggled to find a local outdoor dog day care.

This coupled with his passion and love for doggies, encouraged him to create a dedicated space to provide the best level of love, care and service for doggies in the Borough of Bromley.  Initially, his dream started by becoming a local dog walker and today he is proud to offer the largest registered doggie daycare centre for the local community.

Our Approach

To provide a safe and stimulating environment for doggies to socialise, exercise, and receive care and attention.  We can play a crucial role in the overall wellbeing and happiness of your doggie and here are some key aspects we specialise in:

Love & Care

Doggies are highly emotional animals that flourish with love, care and positive interaction.  We employ passionate and caring staff who ensure each doggie receives individual attention, affection and positive reinforcement to help them feel safe, secure and enhances their overall mental wellbeing.

Socialisation

Doggies are social animals and thrive when they have opportunities to interact with other doggies and people. Our  supervised outdoors setting where your doggie can engage in positive social interactions in a fun and playful environment, whilst allowing every doggie to interact with each other at their own pace.

Professional

Our dedicated team of experienced professionals are passionate about doggie wellbeing. They undergo extensive training in dog behaviour, handling and first aid to ensuring that your doggie is in capable hands. We provide personalised attention and care to each dog, catering to their unique needs.

Environment

We believe in the importance of a calm and open outdoor environment.  Our highly rated propose built private centre is nestled between an AONB and a nature reserve. They provide the perfect outdoor environment for  your doggie to socialise, roam and play.  Our mud-free field is designed with different areas to provide variety and choice throughout the day.

Exercise

All doggies require regular exercise to maintain their physical and mental health. Sufficient exercise can help prevent obesity, promote cardiovascular health and reduces destructive behaviour that may occur when doggies are bored or under stimulated. Our spacious play area provides the perfect space for your doggie to run,  fetch and engage in other structured activities.

Enrichment

Along with physical exercise, mental stimulation is essential for a doggies overall wellbeing. Our daily Enrichment Programme provides structure and variety. We provide puzzles, toys, interactive games and other mentally stimulating activities to keep doggies engaged and entertained to prevent boredom and help promote cognitive development.

We are Carbon Neutral

We understand how fragile our environment is and the impact we are having on a global scale.

That's why Doggies Daycare has pledged to reduce it's carbon emissions through the SME Climate Hub and be part of the Race To Zero campaign.

We have already taken steps in achieving this with our daycare centre using 100% renewable energy and harvesting rainwater for our staff toilets. We also support our local wildlife by installing extra bird boxes and planting new hedgerows.

Our final step is to eventually have a fleet of electric vehicles to collect our doggies. However, in the meantime we will invest in eco-friendly initiatives to off-set our annual carbon footprint .
